Once you have set all this up you should be right to start surfing, there are many advanced features for sending and receiving files via messaging programs such as MSN, ICQ, IRC etc, as well as configuring for hosting game servers.
This is covered in the help files and on many other sites, this guide is purely to get you connected.

Set the Internet Zone to high, and the
Trusted zone to medium. Click on the Zones tab on the top right. This should be set the same on the server and clients. Click the advanced button and then set up for ICS for both the server and any clients as shown.

Add the IP of any other PC's on your LAN so
that you can share files and printers, the Router entry in the pic is the IP
of your modem or router, it is setup by by ZA the first time you access the
Internet. If you install ZA on the clients as well (which is a good idea) then you have to add the IP's like this on them as well.

Adding an IP range is the easiest way to
keep things working as sometimes the LAN IP's change. Click on Add, the IP range, then add the numbers you think you might need as shown in the next step. |

On mine I have from 1-10 setup as I run 5 PC constantly and regularly have several others plugged in for repairs or rebuilds, you can limit the number to whatever suits your setup.

Setup your server settings as shown, the
local address should be set already by ZA, if not add it.
